Embla A10 Specifications

Signal Acquisition Channels 16 multipurpose
2 oximeter channels
1 event
Sampling Rate fs = 1, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200Hz. Software selectable for each channel
Input Range Vin = +/-250mV on all channels
Maximum Leakage Current 10µA, complying with EN60601-1
Low Pass Filter Frequency response:
Depends on the sampling rate. The digital LP filters have a flat bandwidth of B = 0.45 x fs and a sharp cut-off between 0.45 and 0.5 x fs. The exception is when sampling at 1Hz, then the bandwidth is 0.2Hz
High Pass Filter Frequency response:
Software selectable for each channel. If activated, the channel has AC characteristics with a cut-off frequency below 1Hz.
Power-Line Notch Filters Software selectable for each channel. If activated, a notch filter will reject the 50 or 60Hz power line frequencies when sampling at higher rate than 100Hz
Signal processing An on-board Digital Signal Processor (DSP) is used for real time signal conditioning, decimation, filtering, etc.
Signal resolution Depends on the applied signal processing. A data word of 16 bits is stored for each sample. The data word maps ±250mV when recording DC. The data word maps ±7.8mV when recording AC.
Signal Noise Depends on the applied signal processing. Noise levels at fs = 200Hz is less than 1µVrms. Noise levels at fs = 50Hz is less than 0.5µVrms.
DC offset ±4µV
Storage capacity 520Mb or largest available PCMCIA disk
Battery Life Rechargeable Li-Ion, 300g, 24h
Batteies are exchangeable during recorder use.
